Sweet Sillys jewelry is made of food grade silicone.
Food grade silicone is nontoxic, odorless, tasteless and does not favoring the growth of mold and bacteria. Being an inert material, it does not react with food nor does it produce any hazardous toxins.
Unlike other candy jewelry materials
on the market, silicone does not shatter, crack or splinter, making it a safe material for children to wear and play with.
The Sweet Sillys Ring construction and material make it actually possible to wear candy. The candy housing and non-stick properties of food grade silicone prevent the usual sticky mess inherent in candy jewelry.
Unlike disposable plastic candy jewelry this product can be refilled and due to the materials durability reused for a long time.
Silicone polymers are derived from silicon, a natural element with abundant resources. Silicone is not toxic to aquatic or soil organisms, it is not hazardous waste. While it is not biodegradable, it can be recycled easily.
